Database Size:
F3DSearch is designed for niche, horizontal portals. Consequently, the database is designed to handle smaller numbers of URLs, in comparison to major search engine. However, F3DSearch can handle 20,000+ urls (depending on system), more than enough for niche portals.

Pricing:
F3DSearch costs $299 for a license to use the software (redistribution is not allowed). This price includes free installation and 30 days of support.
