Simiax Manufacturing Cost Estimating software is easy to use and produces manufacturing-engineering based and activity based cost estimates for parts manufactured in metal-working machining shops. With Simiax Manufacturing Cost Estimating software, the guesswork involved in traditional cost estimating is eliminated, and an accurate, consistent and practical cost is calculated. Prospective customers can be quoted in a quick and timely manner, because the automated estimating process yields fast, accurate, consistent and practical cost estimates.
Once, the machining process data of a part is entered, the user does not have to re-enter it again. Moreover, overhead parameters, machine/work center specific labor rates, and profit margin rates can be easily changed, and the cost estimates can be effortlessly remade with these new values again and again.

Simiax Manufacturing Cost Estimating software uses our original RESURGE engine to simplify and increase the accuracy of the cost estimating process. The RESURGE engine uses material hardness, cutting tool type, machining specific data and calculates Machining Time, Cycle Times and estimates the cost. Furthermore, our RESURGE engine eliminates the need to maintain large, materials databases, reducing the expenses and efforts needed to estimate costs.
Both versions of the software are MS Windows based and are not designed for plastic parts. Both run on MS Windows 98 and newer compatible versions of MS Windows.
